Stellar Resources attended the 2013 Noosa Mining and Exploration conference in Noosa last week. The conference featured 45 listed resource companies and is designed for serious investors to better understand current investment opportunities in the mining and exploration sector.
Among the number of people drawn to Stellar Resources’ eye catching exhibit featuring the famous tin man was James McCullough from the Courier Mail. McCullough featured Stellar in his City Beat diary on July 19 after speaking with Managing Director Peter Blight and reported that Stellar Resources has significant room for upside from its Heemskirk project in Tasmania.
The Courier Mail also featured another article about the tough times the Australian junior resources sector is experiencing, quoting former Union Mining boss Rob Murdoch who said that “without junior explorers you don’t get developed mines and you don’t get major miners”.
